he Open-Air Meditation Sanctuary (OMS) is a project of the Center for Soulful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This page explains what information we collect when you visit Our Website (openairmeditation.com), what we do with it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect very little. We don’t track you, we don’t sell or rent your information, and we only use what you give us to stay in touch about OMS.
What we collect
When you join our mailing list. Our signup form asks for your email address and, if you choose, your first name. We send a confirmation email first, and you’re only added once you click to confirm.
When you donate or book a stay. Our Donate and booking buttons are simple links. Once you click through to PayPal, Airbnb, or Hipcamp, you’re on their site and their privacy policy applies. Our website doesn’t send them your information or receive anything back.
When you visit Our Website. Our web host automatically keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visited and when. These are used for security and fixing problems, not to identify or profile visitors. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools.
Services we use
A few trusted companies help run the site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, under its own privacy policy.
| Service | What it does here | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| MailPoet | Sends our newsletters and signup confirmations | Your name and email; whether you open emails and click links |
| Google Maps | Shows the map and directions on our Contact page | Your IP address and map activity when the map loads |
| Google Fonts | Supplies the typefaces on our pages | Your IP address when a page loads |
| Web Host | Hosts the website | Standard server logs (see above) |
We also link to other sites, including Facebook, PayPal, Airbnb and Hipcamp. Their privacy policies apply once you leave Our Website.
Cookies

How we use your information
- To send the newsletters and updates you signed up for
- To keep the site secure and working
Sharing
We don’t sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the services listed above so they can do their part, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited time and then deleted.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of every newsletter.
- Skip the map and fonts by blocking third-party content in your browser; the rest of the site still works.
