Applied kinesiology is the term most commonly used to identify the system of muscle-testing I use. It was initiated in 1964 by George J. Goodheart, Jr., D.C. (1918-2008) and has become quite elaborate and diversified. The basic idea is that every organ dysfunction is accompanied by a specific muscle weakness, which enables diseases and therapies to be discovered through muscle-testing procedures. Most practitioners are chiropractors, but naturopaths, medical doctors, dentists, nutritionists, physical therapists, massage therapists and nurse practitioners are also using it.
Pronounced Kin-easy-ology, it is one of the most holistic therapies available today. Using Kinesiology muscle testing, I can discover imbalances in your body’s energy systems. It is a non-invasive, simple technique that involves you standing or sitting while I touch and muscle-test organs and other parts of your body to discover the leading imbalances. I’ll be looking for sensitivity reactions, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, blood sugar imbalances and toxicity, as well as imbalances in the muscles, joints and bones.
I will also be looking for emotions, thoughts, beliefs and attitudes that can cause stress. In dealing with health problems, it is often necessary to identify any emotional factors involved. Emotional healing is supported with flower essences, affirmations, counseling skills and specific Kinesiology techniques. Emotional Freedom Technique and Neuro-Linguistic Programming methods are also recommended where appropriate.
I give equal attention to your emotional, nutritional, physical and energetic needs. You will leave the session with suggested supplements, dietary changes, physical therapy exercises, and emotional therapies.
Sessions may last up to 2 hours, and follow ups are encouraged.
